Thread Chasing Unit cleans out existing threads.
Comprised of servomotor, servodrive, and motion programming, all-electric Thread Chasing Unit can clear weld spatter, chips, paint, or burrs from internal or external threads in production parts. Forward torque is adjustable up to 10 lb-ft and reverse torque is 20 lb-ft to assure tool will not stick in threads. Three sizes are available to chase threads from 3-50 mm.

Extending torque is adjustable up to 12 lb-in., while retracting torque is 40 lb-in. to assure gage will not stick in threads. GO, NO GO, and GO-NO GO combination gauging, as well as thread depth gauging, are all possible.
