Microspectrophotometer is capable of Raman spectra acquisition.

September 3, 2014

Leveraging optical aperturing technology, 20/30 Perfect Vision™ (20/30 PV™) lets users acquire Raman spectra, with multiple laser wavelengths, in addition to UV-visible-NIR absorbance, reflectance, fluorescence, and emission microspectra™ from same microscopic sample area. Self-contained unit can also acquire images of same microscopic samples in UV, Vis, and NIR regions. Light sources, solid state lasers, Lightblades™ spectrometers, and Lambdafire™ spectral and imaging software are included. Read More

Microspectrometer Software offers spectral surface mapping.

May 12, 2014

Available for CRAIC microspectrophotometers, S2M™ Spectral Surface Mapping™ software gives users ability to map UV-visible-NIR absorbance, reflectance, or fluorescence spectral response, point-by-point, with microscopic spatial resolution. When used with microspectrometers featuring programmable stages, plug-in software module allows user to automatically take spectral measurements with user-defined mapping patterns that reach to movement limits of stage itself. Glass/Oil Standards address glass refractive index measurements.

February 4, 2014

Used to calibrate instruments that measure refractive index of microscopic fragments of glass and glass-like materials, Glass Refractive Standards set consists of calibrated glass samples and immersion liquids calibrated for refractive index versus temperature. Materials, designed for compliance with standard test methodology in ASTM 1967, cover 1.4800–1.5400 refractive index range. Also, oils have thermal coefficient and delta of that coefficient that meets ASTM criteria for such tests. Read More
