Providing low-halogen content and low-smoke performance, Udel® P-1703 NT polysulfone (PSU) foam passes NFPA 262 smoke and flame test for plenum (CMP) applications. Resin has specific gravity of 1.24 and foam rate of 50%–60%; latter imparts dielectric constant of 1.8–2 to meet cable electrical requirements without requiring significant modifications to existing constructions.
