Stephen Moore

Stephen Moore is a Singapore-based journalist and industry consultant with more than 20 years of experience in writing on technical matters. Fluent in Japanese, and initially writing for a Tokyo-based technology wire service, Stephen worked for McGraw-Hill’s Tokyo bureau as Asia-Pacific Editor for its Chemical Engineering and Modern Plastics titles, earlier in his career.

Since September 2012, Stephen has been the inaugural contributor to ThomasNet News’ Fluid & Gas Flow Journal. Since 2003, he has written for several publications as a freelance journalist, including Modern Plastics Worldwide, Injection Molding Magazine, Plastics Today, Australian Manufacturing Technology, Plastics Age, Turbomachinery Magazine, and Platopia.

Stephen is a graduate of New Zealand’s Auckland University, with a B.S. in Chemistry. He holds a M.S. degree from the University of Tokyo. A Japanese Ministry of Education (Monbusho) Scholar, Stephen has been published in the Japan Journal of Applied Physics.
