CSA HCT Co. Ltd. Ally to offer testing/certification services.

Alliance announced between CSA Group and HCT Co. Ltd, provider of certification and compliance testing in Korea, will enable both organizations to expand one-stop testing and certification services for electronics and electrical appliances. Consequently, this will provide Korean manufacturers access to global markets. AIM honors HID Global for RFID technology innovation.

AIM has selected HID Global of Austin, TX as winner of 2014 RFID Case Study Competition. Bodega Norton Winery, one of Argentina’s leading vintners, wanted to automate vineyard’s harvest tracking and payment system without fundamentally changing underlying grape-gathering process. HID Global provided each harvester an armband equipped with unique HID Global contactless card, tagged grape collection bins with HID Epoxy Disc tags, and outfitted vineyard supervisors with NFC-enabled smartphones. IPC, working with Automotive Industry Action Group, Conflict-Free Sourcing Initiative, and Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association, published IPC-1755 Conflict Minerals Data Exchange Standard, to help suppliers and customers effectively facilitate conflict minerals data exchange along global supply chain.
