Perreiah, who was at the event as part of the “Best Practices for Manufacturing Excellence” panel, also discussed Alcoa’s recent effort in joining President Obama’s Advanced Manufacturing Partnership Steering Committee 2.0, which the White House describes as part of a larger effort to maintain U.S. leadership in the emerging technologies that will create high-quality manufacturing jobs to bolster U.S competitiveness.
