3D printers and various dimensional creations were on display at New York City’s Javits Center on April 22-23 at the Inside 3D Printing Conference and Expo. Visitors, ranging from engineers to students learned about the latest advancements in the industry.
IMT Machining Journal’s lead reporter Brian Lane was at the event, where he found out more about where the 3D industry is headed and how some 3D printers can produce two materials at once. He also took time out to speak with high school students about their interest and projects in 3D printing. One student described how her FIRST Robotics team at Hunter College High School has incorporated a MakerBot printer into its engineering creations.
