Starting April 5, IMT Career Journal will be covering the National Association of Student Engineering Councils (NAESC) conference. The event, sponsored by ThomasNet.com, NCEES, and John Deere, will attract hundreds of engineering students from 33 universities accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).

NAESC imageFrom April 4 to 7, students will convene at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and take part in leadership sessions and industry tours. The Caterpillar Simulation Center, Quaker Oats, and the John Deere Technology and Innovation Center will all open their doors to engineering students who wish to learn more about the manufacturing and engineering behind the companies' famous products.

IMT Career Journal will join students at the Caterpillar Simulation Center tour and conduct an exclusive interview with company representative Mark Niemeyer.

NAESC has evolved from six members in 1982 to over 300 engineering student leaders who currently lead the not-for-profit educational organization.

Stay tuned to IMT Career Journal for updates and video from the University of Illinois campus, and share updates on @Career_TN or @BethG_TN.
