New research from Cal Gavin reveals that in 2012, a majority of engineers used social media for learning about new technology in their industry. Cal Gavin, which provides heat transfer intensification solutions to the process industry, found that Facebook is the most popular social website among engineers, followed by LinkedIn, which currently has over 8 million engineers on its site. Twitter is another social media source for engineers.

Follow National Engineers Week “EWeek 2013,” from February 17-23 on the official Twitter account @nationaleweek, which is using hashtag #eweek2013,  or follow the official EWeek2013 Facebook account.
