Hannover Messe 2013, an industrial technology trade show in Germany scheduled for April 8-12 of next year, has generated considerable enthusiasm from manufacturing companies and organizations around the world, with the majority of exhibition space already booked.
The Hannover Messe 2013 show, held by trade fair organizer Deutsche Messe, is a German trade show that will focus on the core technologies and services that enable industrial production, innovation and efficiency. Although the show isn’t scheduled to start until April 8, 2013, roughly 70 percent of all available exhibition space at the Hannover Exhibition Center has already been booked, with companies from around the globe expected to participate.
Around 5,000 exhibitors appeared at the show last year, along with nearly 185,000 attendees.
“Given the high level of registrations at this early stage, we have every reason to be optimistic about next April’s show,” Dr. Jochen Köckler, a member of Deutsche Messe’s managing board, said in a recent announcement. “And one other thing is for sure: the fair will again be an international showcase of the highest caliber, where visitors will find the full range of solutions for all the big challenges facing all sectors of industry today. Hannover Messe profiles the current state of the art in industry and previews key future trends.”
The show will center on five core themes relevant to manufacturers today: industrial automation and IT; energy and environmental technology; power transmission and control; industrial supply, production technologies and services; and research and development.
Hannover Messe will also feature a wide range of networking events, panel discussions and forums to facilitate new business contacts and promote deals made at the exhibition stands. Organizers estimate that over 5 million new business contacts made at the fair each year.
Next year’s partner country for the Hannover Messe event will be the Russian Federation, which plans to showcase multiple displays and host numerous forums and events. 2013 will also mark Russia’s “Year of Sustainability,” a key theme that will run throughout the show.
