Out of all industries, mining might be the one where sustainability is hardest to implement. As Paul Gould, global head of marketing and application development for Clariant Mining Services told me recently, “Things like noise and dust and the way materials are handled and transported on the roads in and out of the establishment, the visual impact of the mine, water runoff — all of those things add up to a large impact.” Read more
