I had just hired a supposedly experienced secretary.
We were shipping a truckload and I asked the foreman for the bill of lading. In the adjoining room, I heard the secretary tell the foreman she couldn’t find him. “Who?” asked the foreman. “Bill O’Lading” said the secretary.
She didn’t last too long.
