Taking the human factor off the battlefield. If we could replace troop’s with robotics in all branches we would see less wounded and/or dead stemming from battle. Also it would change the way the psychological aspect would be played out in combat, not only for the U.S troops but how the enemy would have to deal with a soldier without fear.

In wars like Iraq and Afghanistan, after destruction of their organized military capability, and in combating countries like Iran, what is needed and human ground-pounding and use of high tech tools for gathering intelligence, engaging in counter-intelligence, subversion of autocratic and corrupt governments by broadcasting (e.g., Radio Free Europe against communism and autocracy) and having agents organize resistance with those countries.
